Below is a partial page from Raley's history book. Beverly Hardesty is making a statement about rumors about Raley's going bankrupt when she was hired in 1971.

Below is a page from Charles Nordby's book quoting Beverly Hardesty.

The above quote from Collings is a serious problem for Raley's. If Raley's hadn't hired Charles Nordby in 1973, Chuckie and Jimmy would have taken another millions dollars out of Eagle Thrifty's payroll. They were planning on taking as much money out of this chain before letting it go bankrupt.
Below is another page from Nordby's book showing him paraphrasing Beverly Hardesty.
Beverly Hardesty needs urine tests taken to see if she is taking drugs.

Below is a 1971 headline from the Press Democrat:

Charles Nordby indicated in his Raley book that he was hired by the Sonoma County Sheriff's Department to investigate corruption at gambling establishments. Above is the article that represented what he indicated in his book. Three licenses were suspended from Nordby's investigation. His word alone closed down those poker parlors. Then Dr. Hardesty, with a PHD in history from the University of Libel, is out there for Raley's publicly stating that many of the things Nordby said happened at Raley's in the 70s just didn't happen. This is the same lady who can be heard on this page stating Nordby only worked at Raley's for one year.
I guess I can't blame Hardesty for her loyalty to Raley's. If top management at Raley's is basically being described by Nordby in his book as being less qualified than the three stooges to be in charge of a chain of grocery stores, it is easy to understand why Hardesty would publicly lie about Mr. Nordby. She too was part of the same group Nordby claims was clueless at Raley's when he was hired in 1973.
