RaleyVille Time:

The above photo is Raley's main office building, and it is located in West Sacramento.  Charles Nordby didn't remember seeing Joyce Raley Teel at Raley's old (run down) office building where Mr. Nordby spent three (3) years turning Raley's around.  Maybe the reason she never showed up at the old office building is because she didn't want to get her shoes dirty!

Raley's, a few years ago, was rated the #1 supermarket in America, according to Consumer Reports.. An honor that is attributed to Charles Nordby's program that he implemented at Raley's during the 70's.  And without Mr. Nordby's program, Raley's would have gone bankrupt in 1974.  However, as far as being the #1 privately own supermarket chain in America, that honor goes to the Meijer (pronounced Myer) stores of Michigan.  Regardless of any Consumer Reports view, Meijer succeeded where Raley's couldn't succeed.  The Meijer family didn't have to defraud anybody to become successful.  They built their entire success with their own talents.  Are you a Raley shopper?  Click on Raley's Main Office photo (above)  and come in contact with the #1 supermarket chain in America.

Joyce Raley Teel can thank Charles Nordby for every penny she has today.
Joyce Teel is the only person on this list who obtained their riches by an act of fraud. She is currently (2004) worth over $1 billion dollars and yet she doesn't have one (1) dollar that can change the fact that she owes her thanks to Charles Nordby for the $1 billion dollars that she does have.

Joyce Raley Teel is now the owner of Raley's.  She and her husband Jim have done just about everything you can possibly think of to make sure that the public is never told the true story of her company.  She received a copy of Charles Nordby's book back in 1992, and it appears that over the last ten (10) years, she has hidden herself from his truth.  Raley's has nearly 500 lawsuits on file at the Sacramento courthouse.  They have sued individuals for some of the silliest reasons, and yet, they refused to approach Mr. Nordby and his story with a lawsuit.  In fact, Charles Nordby sued Jim and Joyce for fraud and unjust enrichment for $592 million dollars, and their only defense against Mr. Nordby was to corrupt the courts, influence the news media, and show by their silence that they are guilty of defrauding an honest man with nine (9) children.

Jim and Joyce, along with Charles Collings are probably the biggest frauds living in Sacramento.   They have lived lavous lifestyles for nearly thirty years since Charles Nordby made Raley's successful.  They have donated their fraud money to their bogus political friends.  She has polictical friends stating she is one of the most "influential" people in Sacramento.  Why?  Because she has some money?  A bank robber might claim that he has a lot of money too, but can a bank robber get others to claim that he is one of the most influential persons living in a community?

This is the only "influential" person in America that owns a chain of grocery stores with a web site like this.

Teel Beneficiaries

To see who in the "Teel" family benefited from Mr. Nordby's profit increasing program-

click on the Teel beneficiaries above. "It's a wonderful life" story!

Wow, why didn't Joyce Raley Teel pick up her mail? Charles Nordby wanted to send to her some interrogatories. I guess if someone was sueing you for everything that you obtain by an act of fraud, you wouldn't pick up your mail either.
Raley's Fact Sheet- Yeah Right!!!
Below is an old photo from Raley's web site raleys.com.  Click on this photo and open a pdf file that will show this fact sheet.  Raley's no longer uses this fact sheet on their web site.  They changed it when they were told of their errors.
Raley's web site fact sheet
The county of El Dorado appears to be caught up in Raley's lies too. Read where they indicate Tom Raley's first store was destroyed by fire in 1942. Sorry El Dorado, Mr. Raley's first store was destroyed by fire in May of 1943! And, Tom Raley wasn't the first grocer to have a 'drive in market' in this nation.
The darken portion of this page is from Raley's History book. A book of lies.
I wonder why Mike Teel quit his top position at Raley's?

Back in April of 2002, Raley's CEO Mike Teel quit his position on a "whim."  There wasn't a public explanation, he just basically quit.  Maybe Mike got tired of all this "Charles Nordby" stuff going on.  After all, it was his dad Jim that was involved in this "Charles Nordby" stuff. Why should Mike be at the helm of a company that is embarrassing to work for?  In fact, Mike Teel, back in 1991, took Charles Nordby's son Jack (before Charles Nordby even found out about Raley's history book) out to lunch, asking Jack, "my parents are tired of the bickering, what is it going to take to bring this situation to a close?"  Jack told Mike at the time "all we want is the truth to be told."  Mike then told Jack "well, Charles Collings is a mighty prideful man...you know"  I think Mike felt after his lunch with Jack, that, how in the world does a company, that cheated an honest man with nine (9) children, come out publicly and say "Raley's, and our wonderful Christian Charles Collings cheated a man with nine (9) children who made Raley's successful?"  The Sacramento Bee newspaper and Charles Collings surely didn't want to hear that!

Raley's new CEO

In 1973, it took a grocery consultant and a

retail security expert to clean up the terrible mess at Raley's

and make Raley's a successful company.

The program that Charles Nordby implimented at Raley's was

such a successful program, that now anybody can be the CEO of Raley's.

Well not exactly, not unless you are Jim Teel.

Meet Raley's new CEO:

William Joseph Coyne

Raley's should be inducted into the "Hall of shame!"
Sac Metro Chamber web site

Awards like this are always being given to Raley's.  Joyce and Jim Teel probably have lots of friends that are associated with the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce.  What a community game.   Contact them and ask them why they continue to give awards to company's that defrauded their way into success?  Also, when you click onto their web site, you will notice the law firm Downey, Brand, Seymour, and Rohwer being advertised on their site.  This is the law firm that Raley's used when Charles Nordby sued the Teels and Raley's.   Who is connected to the Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce?  Below is a list of individuals that control the big game going on in Sacramento. And it is just one big game going on.  Especially when it comes to giving awards to Raley's.   Those that are on the 2003 Board of Directors to the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce represent many companies, lawfirms, and many other organizations.  It is a looooooooong list.  This list was obtained off the Sac. Met. Chamber of Commerce web site.  And by all appearances, it looks like a sham... Why are there so many people on the Board?

The man in the above photo is Jim Teel .  It was taken back in 1974.  This was a time in Jim Teel's life when he realized what it felt like to be embarrassed about the fact that he should have been fired for his incompetency at Raley's.  Maybe, that's the impression he has on his face.  His arrogance in life was captured in Raley's history book that was published in 1989.  He stated "I have no regrets." Maybe he too has been attending Charles Collings Friday night Bible studies to be able to make a statement like this!

Raley's is a tradition of fraud...
Below represents a tradition of firsts that is currently found on Raley's own web site.  Further down there is a photo highlighting a company called Miller's Super Public Market.  Miller's first Super Public Market was built in 1931.  If Miller's first super public Market had a drive in market with free parking for Miller's customers, then, how can Raley's make the claim that Tom Raley opened the first drive-in market?  Mr. Raley's first store in Placerville wasn't opened until 1935!   In fact, in 1935, when Tom Raley advertised his first store opening with this statement "the nation's first drive-in market," this was the beginning of the "Tom Raley Lie!"  This statement is found on page 21 of "Raley's, a Family Store" history book.

A Tradition of Firsts

From his first store in Placerville, Tom Raley's adventurous spirit took him to Sacramento and the great Central Valley. Soon Raley's stores were rising across Northern California and Nevada.

Always a pioneer, he embraced new ideas as quickly as he built new stores:

? The first drive-in market.

? The first pre-packaged meat department.

? The first side-by-side grocery and drug stores ... a "superstore!"

? The first supermarket natural foods department.

A good idea was a bright spark to Tom Raley's imagination ... as long as it served his customers. "Treat our customers the way you'd like to be treated," he told his employees, "and they'll come back." That was - and still is - Raley's Golden Rule.

Raley's indicated in their history book that Tom Raley, in 1935, was the 'first' grocer to open a store with public parking. Well, this photograph will tell you that probably wasn't true.
