Clerks working at the stores, earn an average of $15,000 to $20,000 a year. Their representatives earn $90,000 and higher a year. Can you imagine what a guy like Cho would have done had he been a member of this corrupt Union? You have to wonder how Loveall, family, and friends can even looked at themselves in the mirror every morning.
They don't give their members 'honest' election of officers every three years. Why should they when the DOL doesn't care?
This is the most corrupt union in America. When Jack Loveall took over this union, dues were $18 a month. Today they are around $50 a month. The U.S. DOL allows this kind of corruption to exist in our labor unions. New hires earn less wages and have to wait a couple of years before their health benefits kick in - and they still have to pay union dues. The UFCW International Union is even more corrupt than this local union. The Loveall factor makes sure their opposition is terminated from their jobs. The November, 2012 strike

In 1995, UFCW 588 went on strike in Northern California. The voice you hear on this page belongs to Jack Loveall telling the members that the strike is still on. The members did a great job shutting down the business to Lucky Stores. The most disappointing thing about this strike is the fact that the members never received any pay raises or cost of living increases in the new negotiated contract. How could this be? Especially knowing that Jack Loveall, family and friends representing these members were giving themselves huge raises during this strike year and every year before. In addition to that, not one member received any compensation for being off work during this strike. There was a possibility that the members would receive a "strike allowance" from the union "strike fund" but that could only happen if the strike lasted long enough in which it didn't.

When they aren't cheating their members, they can be seen playing on the swing set.
